Cynet 360 Integration via API

API User and Authorization

A special API user must be created to access the Cynet API.

API access is provided using Access Key and Secret Key.

Creating an API User

You can create the API user by following the steps below:

1. Log in to the Cynet 360 Admin Panel.

2. Go to Settings → API Management tab.

3. Click on the Create API User button.

4. Specify the Authorization Level:

  • Read-Only (Read-only access)
  • Read-Write (Read and write access)
  • Admin (All access)

5. Provide API access to the user and generate Access Key & Secret Key.

6. Store the API keys securely. Secret Key can be viewed only once.

You can follow the steps below to find Client ID.

1. Login to the Cynet 360 Admin Console:
Log in to the Cynet 360 admin console through your web browser.
2. Access the Global Settings Menu:
Click Global Settings from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Access Customer Site Manager:
Select Client Site Manager from the drop-down menu.
4. Check Site Status:
Go to the Sites Status section. Here you can find Client ID information next to your listed sites.
NOTE: If you are an MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider), you can view the Client ID of each of your clients by following the steps above.

Then you should log in to Logsign USO, select Settings > Data Collection > API options and select Cynet 360 from the screen that appears.

URL > https://{domain}.api.cynet.com

Username > Access Key

Password > Secret Key

Client ID > Client ID

 

You can then type the device name and save.
