Configuring Syslog Settings

A remote syslog server is a system provisioned specifically to collect logs for long term storage and analysis with preferred analytic tools.

Before you begin:

  • You must have Read-Write permission for Log & Report settings.

To configure syslog settings:

  1. Go to Log & Report > Log Setting.
  2. Click the Syslog Server tab.
  3. Click Add to display the configuration editor.
  4. Complete the configuration as described in Table below.
  5. Save the configuration.

 

 

Logsign Integration

Step 1- Login to Logsign UI

Step 2- Go to Data Collection and click on the "+ Device".

Step 3- Select Devices as SYSLOG and Fortinet- FortiNAC

Step 4- Enter the IP address that belongs to FortiNAC device.

Step 5- Check the "Syslog Facility"

Step 6- Give the Device name and Save it.
