  • Each task includes a status label (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Completed or Incomplete).

3.4. Update or Edit Tasks

  • Regularly check the task list to ensure that tasks are being completed as scheduled. Use the In Progress and Pending labels to prioritize actions.

4.3. Collaborate Efficiently

  • Encourage team collaboration by using the Comments section of each task to provide updates or feedback.

5. Closing Tasks

Once a task is completed:

  • Change the task’s status to Completed.

  • Ensure that all details are documented before closing the task.

  • Closed tasks remain archived for future reference within the incident record.

6. Reporting and Analytics

  • The Task Management feature integrates with Logsign’s reporting to generate reports on open tasks, completed tasks, and other transactions. This report can be exported on the incident screen with "export view" button.

  • Incident Managers can use these reports to assess the team’s efficiency and identify bottlenecks in the incident response process.
