Overview
MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) that is widely used for managing and organizing structured data. MySQL is known for its reliability, ease of use, scalability, and performance, making it one of the most popular database systems in the world.
Prerequisites
- Logsign 6.3.42+ versions support this integration.
Configure On Logsign Unified SecOps Platform
Forwarding settings are completed as follows:
- Login to your Logsign Unified SecOps Platform UI.
- Click Settings > Data Collection > +Device.
- Define the settings as follows:
- Select the MySQL.
- Username: Define the username.
- Password: Define the password.
- Host: Define the host of the MySQL to be integrated with Logsign Unified SecOps Platform.
- Query: Define the query.
- Position Column: Define the position column. In MySQL, the position column is TIME by default. Format: %Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S.%f
- Click the Check Connection button.
- Define the settings as follows:
- Database: Select the database.
- Period: Specify the period.
- Data Policy: If you have a Data Policy to add for the source, please add it.
- Check Health: If there is a Health Check Period you want to define, click Check Health.
- Device Name: Define the Device Name.
- Tags: If you want to add any tags, please define them.
- Roles: If you want to specify any roles, please select them.
- Click the Save button.
