Installing VMware Tools on Ubuntu

VMware Tools is a set of services and components that enable several features in various VMware products for better management and seamless user interactions with guest operating systems.

First of all, the following command is executed to get the current update packages;

# apt-get update

Then, the following command is executed to install Vmware Tools.

# apt-get install open-vm-tools

After the installation process, when we click on the relevant host on the ESXi Server, we can see that vm tools has been installed.
