UI Permissions

You can determine specific IP addresses or subnets to access Logsign web interface to prevent unauthorized users to make changes on your log server. For example, you can provide access to hotspot welcome page for the users included in hotspot network but prevent them to access and login to Logsign web interface, so that you'll be able to avoid an important vulnerability. Also you can determine specific IP addresses to access Logsign web interface to improve server management security.

To specify these IP addresses or subnets, you need to follow the steps below.

 

1- Go to Settings > System > UI Permissions tab.

2- Add the IP addresses or subnets which will have the authority to access web interface, and then click on Add button. After you completed to add the informations, you'll need to click on Save button to save the changes.
