Overview
ServiceNow is a comprehensive suite of tools and modules to manage different aspects of IT operations, including incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, and asset management.
Prerequisites
- Logsign 6.3.+ versions support this integration.
Configure On ServiceNow
Forwarding settings are completed as follows:
- Log in to the ServiceNow portal.
- Click System OAuth > Application Registry and then click RESTAPI.
- In the Client ID box, copy the value.
- In the Client Secret box, click the lock icon and the copy the value.
Configure On Logsign
Forwarding settings are completed as follows:
- Click Settings > Integrations > Responses.
- In the ‘Search’ part, write ServiceNow.
- Click ‘Configure’ and then click ‘+Device’.
- Define the settings as follows:
- Device Name: Define the Device Name.
- Host: The IP address of the ServiceNow device/product to be integrated with Logsign.
- Username: Specify the user you have defined in ServiceNow.
- Password: Specify the password you have defined in ServiceNow.
- Client Id: Specify the Client ID.
- Client Secret: Specify the Client Secret.
- Click Create to save the changes.

- Urgency: Define the urgency level.
- Impact: Define the priority order.
- Category: Specify the category you want to assign.
- User List: Specify the user you want to assign.
- Assignment Group: Specify the assignment group you want to assign.
